Logistics

Expect to have a great time with new and old friends, riding tons of great roller coasters, visiting some amazing parks, and even getting some nice perks like Exclusive Ride Time (ERT), Fast Passes, and Meal Plans, etc. You can also expect the highest quality in planning to help ease your travel arrangements.

We specifically make the starting and ending points of our Tours at major airports for your convenience. You will be responsible for getting to that meeting spot on your own by a set time to be determined once signups are complete. On the final day of the Tour, we will have you to either the same airport we started from, or another major airport.

Theme Park Tours knows how important rest is during these Tours. We strategically plan for our hotel stops to be close to the next stop on the Tour, so the amount of driving in the morning is minimal. Our hotels are nice hotels with indoor corridors, etc.

While our Tours may seem fairly rigorous, we know how important rest is during travel. The earliest day we will have on Tour is 8 am, and the latest night will be around midnight. This will NOT be the case everyday, but do be prepared.

A Day at the Park

Absolutely! The best way to enjoy a day at the theme park is without stress. Fast Passes ensure that you will be able to hit every ride with time to spare. Fast Passes are included at all parks where applicable.

Of course! You shouldn't have to spend money when you don't have to! Simply note during Tour Registration that you have a Season Pass, and to which theme parks.

Yes, if you have a Season Meal/Drink Plan at one or more parks, you are eligible for a discount! Simply note during tour registration that you have this plan, and for which theme parks.

It is not required you stay with the group, and it is encouraged that you enjoy your day at the theme park at your own pace! We have built in "Informal Ride Takeovers" and "Unofficial Group Lunch/Dinner", where Tour guests will have the option to meet back up with the group during the day. Unaccompanied minors must remain with the group at all times.

You will receive a detailed itinerary prior to your Tour that will fill you in with all of the awesome things we have planned! While riding roller coasters is the fun part of our Tour, we realize how important rest during travel is. We have made sure to schedule AT LEAST 7 hours at each stop. Schedule is subject to change based on weather and other factors.

Safety is always our #1 concern. If severe weather forces a park to suspend operations for part of the day, we’ll wait in a safe place for the bad weather to pass. If a park must suspend operations for a longer period due to weather or other circumstances, we have emergency contingency plans built into our schedule.

Transportation

Yes! Our charter bus has all of the luxary bells and whistes including: Free Wi-Fi, electrical outlets, a restroom, luggage compartment, and, of course, comfy seats!

Our tour bus can hold up to 56 passengers.

Lodging and Accomodations

Yes. Guests who choose double occupancy will enjoy a room with two queen beds.

There is an option for single occupancy during checkout. This will be provided for a nominal fee.

Of course! Half the fun of roller coaster touring is doing it with friends and people who share your interests! You’ll select your roommate before the tour begins. You can keep the same roommate for the entire trip or, upon agreement of the guests involved, change as often as you like. Guests without roommates will be assigned one.

Food and Drinks

All hotels along our Tour will provide AT LEAST a continental breakfast buffet every day.

Let us know about special dietary needs when you register.

In order to maximize our time in each theme park, we’ll eat lunch and dinner at the parks. Wherever possible, we will have unlimited meal and drink plans for all our guests. At parks that don’t offer those options, we’ll receive meal vouchers, or we will make other arrangements. You are guaranteed AT LEAST two meals per day.

Note: If you have a Season Dining Plan, please let us know when you sign up, as you are eligible for a discount!

Let us know about special dietary needs when you sign up.

Minors on the Tour

Unaccompanied minors must be at least 15 years old at the time of travel.

Children younger than 15 must stay with their parents and guardians at all times.

All unaccompanied minors will travel together in a group led by a Theme Park Tours staff member.  Unaccompanied minors may not leave the group at any time or for any reason unless escorted by another Theme Park Tours staff member.

All unaccompanied minors will room with another minor.

If you have specific questions or concerns about sleeping arrangements, please email themeparktours@yahoo.com

If your teen doesn’t have his or her own phone, you’re welcome to call or text the tour guides, who's phone numbers will be provided in the post-signup email.

Yes, we can help remind your teenager when it’s time to take prescription medications. With your approval, we can even safely administer medications as needed. Just be sure to provide your approval and instructions in the medications portion of your registration.

We will also post pictures and videos from our trip to our social media sites.

What should I bring with me?

Whatever you do decide to bring, we highly recommend keeping it small and light, and all in one bag. We’ll be on the road for multiple days, so four or five outfits seems about right. As long as you remember to shower and wear deodorant, we’ll all be fine.

We’ll travel to a new park each day, so don’t unpack too much in the hotel because we won’t be there long.

We also highly recommend leaving a little extra room in your bag for any other souvenirs you buy during your Tour!

Pillow
Small blanket
Phone and/or tablet with charger and earbuds
• Articles of comfort and safety such as sunscreen, Tylenol, a hat or cap, etc.

"Looks Like We're in For Nasty Weather"

Safety is always our #1 concern. If severe weather forces a park to suspend operations for part of the day, we’ll wait in a safe place for the bad weather to pass. If a park must suspend operations for a longer period due to weather or other circumstances, we have contingency plans built into our schedule.

If you cancel prior to the payment balance due date, you will receive your full deposit back minus the card processing fee. If you cancel after the due date, you will not receive any refunds.

Theme Park Tours staff will accompany you to the amusement park’s First Aid station, if needed. We will also have a first aid kit on the bus and at the hotel with small bandages, cold packs and other common medical supplies.

Our staff will carry a limited supply of over-the-counter medicines, including Tylenol, Advil, Dramamine, feminine products, sunscreen and after-sun care. Parents or guardians must grant permission for unaccompanied minors to take these medications. See your contract for full details.

If your sickness or injury requires hospitalization, we have contingency plans including closest hospital/urgent care...etc etc.

We do recommend that you purchase a travel protection plan to help protect you and your travel investment against the unexpected. Always better to be safe than sorry!
